Welcome to my blog! My name is Sierra, an avid traveler. I am obsessed with budget-friendly adventures with a passion for exploring amusement parks. Now I’m here to share my adventures with a travel blog.
We never traveled much when I was a kid – probably because it seemed too expensive and daunting. We would often go to a county fair or similar events, and I always LOVED the thrill rides. But my first big vacation was to Universal Orlando Resort when I was 13. This was no county fair – after my first big roller coaster, I was hooked!
My journey into a travel blog began several years ago when I realized I had a passion for travel planning. This is especially true for Universal Orlando Resort. After my first visit, I spent years just dying to return. So I did. A lot.
I’m here to tell you travel planning does not have to be daunting
I began planning my own trips as a broke college student, desperate to return to Universal Studios for Halloween Horror Nights. Through a lot of trial and error, I eventually learned to navigate the complexities of theme park visits on a limited budget.
I have learned so much about the world of travel planning and love to share my tips and tricks. To the point that I think my family has become annoyed with me. Just kidding – sort of. But I have become the go-to planner for any group travel that we do!
My family truly sparked my passion for sharing my experiences and planning strategies. I’ve spent countless hours researching [obsessing] over how to get the most bang for my buck. Some of my family members always seemed surprised that we were able to get a good deal on a hotel, or able to upgrade to a higher cabin for free on our flight.
After some time, I began looking into starting a blog to share my secrets. And 7 years later – here we are!
Yes, it took me 7 years to finally start my blog.
Obviously, starting and running a website is not an easy endeavor. However, my desire to document my experiences and hopefully help others conquer traveling eventually became too much.
I recently began planning my next trip to Universal Orlando Resort, and the overwhelming urge to share my thoughts resurfaced. So here we go!
